Nearly 100 young people from all over Argentina completed the latest edition of our AI Assisted Programming Course. It was a space for learning but also for creation, where technology became a tool for devising solutions to real-world problems.
Over the course of 8 weeks, the participants didn’t just absorb theoretical concepts. They also worked as a team and learned to code a technological solution by combining HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and artificial intelligence tools. In the process, they developed a total of 25 projects, addressing issues related to health, the workplace, entertainment, education, and more.
Now each of them has a real-world project that validates everything they learned—the best way to prove that an idea can become code.
“I didn’t know I liked programming until I decided to give it a try. I’m taking away so many more skills from Claude, along with incredible classmates. I’m also taking away a new role and a version of myself I didn’t know existed.”
Milagros, course graduate.
What is AI-assisted programming?
AI-assisted programming means using artificial intelligence tools as allies during the development process—to generate ideas, troubleshoot errors, write code faster, or understand new concepts. It doesn’t replace learning programming logic; rather, it enhances it, allowing the girls to focus on solving problems and designing solutions with greater autonomy at an earlier age.
Why is it important for the girls to learn to code?
Learning to code means learning to transform an idea into something concrete. It means acquiring a tool that opens doors to the workforce while also developing logical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills. When combined with the use of AI, young women gain skills that are increasingly in demand within the tech sector, along with a critical perspective on how to use these tools.
The gender gap in the Tech sector
Today, only 36% of people working in technology companies in Argentina are women. That is why, from Chicas en Tecnología we motivate more women from 13 to 23 years old to develop in IT. Free and in community.
