During our visit to Mexico City, we were part of key spaces to continue strengthening the work that we do from Chicas en Tecnología throughout the region. A trip that left us with lessons learned, valuable encounters such as the GLI Forum Latam and the renewed conviction that we are moving towards a more inclusive technology with real impact.
GLI Forum Latam 2025: an urgent and necessary conversation
We were present at the GLI Forum Latam 2025organized by Pro Woman together with strategic allies. This event is a regional platform that brings together leaders from the investment, entrepreneurial, academic, corporate and social sectors to discuss the potential of gender-sensitive investment as an engine for equality, economic growth and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our executive director, Lucia Mauritzen, was part of the panel "STEM without bias: more talent, more solutions"She shared the experience of Chicas en Tecnología as an organization that promotes diverse leadership, fosters collaborative networks and promotes systemic change in the technology sector.
During the GLI Forum Latam, we highlighted the importance of creating training proposals and support networks that allow more young people to access, participate and lead the future of technology in Latin America.
CET's participation was highlighted by media such as Perfil, which included Lucía among the five Argentine women who left their mark on the event.

Celebrating 10 years with our community in Mexico
In addition to the forum, we held a meeting with young people from the CET community in Mexico City. It was a morning full of energy, where we shared stories, ideas and dreams about the future of technology. This intimate gathering was a celebration of our 10 years of trajectory and another example of what an engaged and active community can generate in the region.
We took with us powerful ideas, new connections and the certainty that each encounter ignites something bigger. Because when a young woman meets others who share her interests and her desire to transform reality, a network with enormous transformative potential is born.
We continue to drive change
At CET we believe in the collective power to generate real transformations. This trip reaffirms that we are not alone: we are part of a region with committed leadership, powerful alliances and an expanding community that is already building the future with new rules.
Our participation in the GLI Forum Latam 2025 is another step on this path. We continue working to strengthen a network that imagines and creates a more just, equitable and Latin American technology.
