New Leadership to Continue Transforming Technology

In Chicas en Tecnología (CET), we have been working for more than a decade towards a clear goal: to close the gender gap in the technology ecosystem and build a more equitable and inclusive future. Today, we celebrate a new chapter in this journey with the arrival of Lucía Mauritzen as the new Executive Director.

Lucía brings not only a solid background in the technology industry but also a human approach that enriches our mission. She has led projects in innovative companies such as Emi Labs, Ripio, Lagash, and Mercado Libre, where her talent management and organizational development strategies have left her mark. Her background in cognitive psychology and neuropsychology makes her a leader who understands that technology is not only a set of tools but an opportunity to transform realities and build bridges between those who create it and those who enjoy it.

“I believe in the power of technology to generate opportunities and build innovative solutions that respond to the great challenges of our time. My goal is to continue widening the path so that more girls become protagonists of change, and so that they access, grow, and lead in the technological world”.

This new leadership is a milestone for Chicas en Tecnología. With Lucía at the helm, we will continue to consolidate our community, strengthen our regional expansion, and enhance our impact in Latin America. This is because we know that transforming the technology ecosystem requires more women leading, creating, and solving social issues through technology.
