Teachers of all subjects have the key role of leading spaces in which boys and girls acquire knowledge in relation to STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics and Art), develop entrepreneurial skills and investigate the design of technologies with social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/miro.medium.com\/max\/3840\/1*n7TiAZfLTWVD2fVgbnymKg.jpeg\" alt=\"Image for post\" \/>\n<figcaption>Teachers arrive at the day at Y-TEC.<\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To foreground the strategic role of educators\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chicasentecnologia.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Girls in Technology<\/a>\u00a0y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionypf.org\/Paginas\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YPF Foundation<\/a>\u00a0organized the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/chicasentecnologia_durante-el-d%C3%ADa-de-hoy-se-desarroll%C3%B3-la-jornada-activity-6534167343151542272-kPS-\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Ingenias at school<\/strong><\/a>\u201dThe meeting was attended by middle school teachers from the areas of La Plata, Berisso and Ensenada. The meeting was held in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/y-tec.com.ar\/Paginas\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Y-TEC<\/a>, The largest applied research center in the country where specialized professionals work on technological research and development programs, a stimulating context for thinking about innovation strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal was clear: to provide teachers with tools to take to the classroom and to accompany adolescents in the inquiry and search for vocations so that more and more women study careers related to science, engineering, technology and mathematics. During the meeting, presentations were made in stands and workshops in which teaching and learning experiences based on projects and theoretical and practical knowledge in relation to STEAM disciplines with a focus on innovation and gender were discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/miro.medium.com\/max\/3840\/1*3b_Ic1jo2o7EKkf-07xoFA.jpeg\" alt=\"Image for post\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The educational community that participated in the event was able to acquire conceptual tools about these disciplines, learn about the problem of the gender gap through data and the impact it has on society, investigate the approach of programming and design with social impact and develop concrete proposals to implement methodologies of the entrepreneurial technology ecosystem in their daily practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chicasentecnologia.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Girls in Technology<\/a>\u00a0y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionypf.org\/Paginas\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YPF Foundation<\/a>\u00a0work together with educators from all over the country to weave networks and transform realities. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/chicasentecnologia_durante-el-d%C3%ADa-de-hoy-se-desarroll%C3%B3-la-jornada-activity-6534167343151542272-kPS-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Ingenias at school<\/strong><\/a>\u201dwas a contribution to collectively contribute to local development from a diversity and social impact approach.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; A morning of work and exchange brought together middle school teachers with proposals for innovation in teaching and learning experiences.
