For four weeks, more than 1,000 girls from 13 to 23 years of age from all Latin America<\/strong> participated in IA Camp, a free initiative of Chicas en Tecnolog\u00eda to explore the world of artificial intelligence with a critical, creative, fun and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants learned how AI works and reflected on its challenges and opportunities, accompanied by specialists. They also experimented with tools to design projects that can generate innovative solutions in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this innovative proposal, the young women were able to choose their own path and decide which spaces to join. The response was massive and all workshops were quickly filled<\/strong>This made it possible to add more days so that no one was left out. Most of the activities were virtual, which allowed the participation of girls from all over Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights was the panel \"AI to change the world\".<\/strong>a space where they discovered how artificial intelligence is being incorporated in the areas of health, work and communication. Veronica Mizrahi<\/strong> from Diagonal Civil Association, Ariel Tiferes <\/strong>from Checked and Martin Saban <\/strong>from CLIAS<\/strong> (Center for Artificial Intelligence and Health for Latin America and the Caribbean) shared their projects in which they used artificial intelligence with social impact. The participants not only learned and were inspired by these references, but were also able to discuss their doubts and concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IA Camp face-to-face hackathon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IA Camp closure was face-to-face<\/a> with a hackathon at the Universidad de Palermo<\/strong>. There, the girls worked in teams to devise and prototype technological solutions to real challenges, using tools such as Claude and Chat GPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accompaniment of the mentors of PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires<\/strong> y Lenovo Foundation<\/strong>The teamwork, along with great teamwork, were key to each project taking shape in just a few hours. In addition, professionals from the university gave them recognition and valuable feedback on their creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the program, volunteers and volunteers from All Fashion<\/strong>, S&P Global Foundation<\/strong> y Salesforce<\/strong>The participants shared their experience and helped to enrich each learning instance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 3500 young people registered for this edition of IA Camp.<\/strong>confirming that interest in artificial intelligence is growing in the region and that, when girls enter these spaces, they do so with the aim of transforming realities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, all the participants in this adventure are joining the Girls in Technology community<\/strong><\/a>a space that connects young people from all over Latin America to continue learning, creating and leading the future of technology with purpose.
