During eight weeks, more than 85 young people from all over the region participated in a new edition of the <\/span>AI Assisted Programming Course<\/b>a free proposal from Chicas en Tecnolog\u00eda to take the first steps in the world of web development.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this space, the participants learned how to program in <\/span>HTML, CSS and JavaScript<\/b>and to integrate <\/span>artificial intelligence<\/b> in their creative and development processes. But in addition to acquiring technical skills, they worked on <\/span>collaborative teams<\/b> to design and create <\/span>technological projects with social impact<\/b>focused on solving real problems that affect their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mental health, environment, access to information, job search, citizen participation are some of the topics they addressed from their own perspectives, demonstrating that when girls have access to technology, <\/span>use it to transform their own and other people's reality<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the course, we accompanied them with mentoring, consultation spaces and tools that strengthened their learning. This experience does not end with the graduation: they are now part of the <\/span>Chicas en Tecnolog\u00eda community<\/b>a network that connects girls from all over Latin America interested in learning, sharing, growing and leading the future of technology with purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

As of today, these new graduates - as well as those who participated in our programs and workshops during the year - are already part of a community that opens the door to a new world. <\/span>training opportunities, exclusive events, mentoring, professional calls for proposals, collective creation spaces and much more.<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
