Girls in Technology (CET)<\/b> completed its first <\/span>Leadership Program<\/b>, in which more than 60 young people from the CET Community completed their training and are now distinguished as <\/span>CET Ambassadors,<\/b> assuming a key role within our community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This program, which is part of the <\/span>CET route<\/span><\/a> in the Future Development stage, aimed at providing fundamental tools for their professional and personal growth, such as project leadership, effective communication, development of interpersonal relationships and analytical skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through CET initiatives, many adolescent girls take their first steps in the world of technology. When trying to further their education or access a job position, most of them face barriers linked to gender stereotypes, which in many cases end up keeping them away from these spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having women leaders in technology is key to changing perceptions and motivating more girls and young women to pursue careers in STEM. A <\/span>Girls in Tech and JPMorgan study<\/span><\/a> revealed that 43% of adolescent girls under 17 do not know women close to them who work in technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, the <\/span>Leadership Program<\/b> not only fostered their leadership and inclusion in the technological field, but also linked them to a network of women leaders who inspire and empower new generations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This training represents an important step towards building a more equitable future, where young women can see themselves as protagonists and reach their potential in the world of technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The greatest value the program offers the young women is self-confidence. In addition, it allows them to be part of a network of support and collaboration that transcends the program, connecting them with other young and adult women in the technological field. It is a space where they empower their profiles to lead, innovate and be authentic on the road to their goals.<\/em>\u201csaid Marina Sisca, Development and Community Referent.<\/span><\/p>\n

This edition had in its various classes and meetings with great professionals who joined to share their experience and knowledge with the participants: Miriam Frias, Candela Kartun, Meli Rochi, Daiana Tarica, Lara Purita, Ana Paula Valacco, Mariana Carbajal, Mariana Szewach, Abril Garcia, Candela Macchi, Evangelina Martinez, Milagros Gimenez, Juli Begue and Paula Coto.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
