This year, <\/span>Girls in Technology<\/b> presents the <\/span>#CensoCET<\/span><\/a>, a regional survey of all young women who have participated in at least one of the organization's programs, workshops, events or scholarships from its inception to the present.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The census will be conducted virtually from February 19 to March 4. To participate, it is only necessary to fill out a form that can be accessed by clicking here.<\/span> here<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2015, <\/span>Girls in Technology<\/b> seeks to reduce the gender gap in technology in the region. In the last year, <\/span>+1,600 young people from 15 Latin American countries created 225 technological solutions with social impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Follow-up of the educational and employment trajectories of the participants of the <\/span>programs and initiatives<\/span><\/a> The Girls in Technology conference will not only strengthen the understanding of the diversity of the CET Community, but will also drive improvements in initiatives designed to reduce the gender gap in technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lack of data on issues related to gender inequality in technology is a significant barrier to the implementation of effective strategies to promote women's participation in the sector. The #CensoCET initiative seeks to transform this context by identifying specific areas of intervention to expand opportunities for women in technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Girls in Technology<\/span><\/a> follows a Youth Protection Policy. In this context, the data collected will be treated confidentially and exclusively for statistical purposes, in order to broaden the participation of young people in Latin America in the organization's initiatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
