On Saturday, November 11, the event <\/span>Leading Girls in Technology<\/span><\/a>, The event is a free online meeting for people who identify with the female gender from 13 to 23 years of age from Latin America.<\/span><\/p>\n

The theme of this edition was the <\/span>Artificial Intelligence<\/span><\/a> with the objective of providing young women with resources for responsible technological application, with the potential to address problems in their communities and to reflect on the potential uses and developments of these new technological tools.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting featured panels and workshops conducted by different women leaders in the technology ecosystem. Representatives from ICBC, Salesforce, S&P Global Foundation and PedidosYa participated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt the panels, they were able to meet women industry references who work with these technologies on a daily basis. In addition, the workshops were a practical and interactive experience. From \u201cPrompt Engineering\u201d to \u201cDrawing with AI\u201d to \u201cAI and Data\u201d to \u201cRecommendation Algorithms,\u201d participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in various facets of Artificial Intelligence. These sessions were not only educational but also stimulating, encouraging the girls to explore their creativity and develop practical skills in the exciting field of technology.\u201d<\/span><\/i>, said Carla Arias, Training and Development Leader of Chicas en Tecnolog\u00eda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chicas L\u00edderes en Tecnolog\u00eda is an inclusive event that is open to the participation of all young women in the region, with no need for prior knowledge. More than 100 teenagers from different Latin American countries had the opportunity to explore the possibilities offered by the technological field, enriching themselves with the exchange among peers and with women leaders in the sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023, <\/span>Girls in Technology <\/b>celebrates eight years dedicated to reducing the gender gap in technology in Latin America. This commitment is reflected in our <\/span>CET route<\/span><\/a>, The program has four stages: Motivation, Initial Training, Specific Training and Future Development. <\/span>
