Chicas en Tecnolog\u00eda and Disney launch the first issue of Potencia tu Futuro, a full-stack programming scholarship program<\/strong>. The following may apply<\/span> female-identifying individuals, ages 16 to 21, living in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The program aims to reduce the gender gap in technology in the region and expanding opportunities for 70 teenagers to be part of the technology workforce<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The selected participants will undergo an 11-month online certification to train them in digital skills that will enable them to carry out the integral development of web pages. The training includes frontend and backend modules, and tools and languages such as HTML, CSS, Boostrap, Javascript, React.js, JPA and Thymeleaf, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Power Your Future proposal is inspired by the upcoming Marvel movie BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER because it invites young women who identify with the female gender to be part of a new generation of women in technology that will change the course of history, just as Shuri and Nakia, two of its characters deeply committed to science and its positive impact, did.<\/p>\n
