The <a href=\"https:\/\/lac.unwomen.org\/es\/stories\/noticia\/2022\/05\/onu-mujeres-anuncio-la-seleccion-del-primer-llamado-del-fondo-regional-de-apoyo-a-organizaciones-y-movimientos-de-mujeres-y-feministas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">acknowledgment<\/span><\/a> seeks to strengthen CET's free and open source programs that seek to <strong>to encourage young women in Latin America to enter the academic and professional environment linked to the STEM disciplines<\/strong> (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). With the aim of reducing the gender gap in technology, the organization motivates, trains and accompanies the new generation of women leaders in the industry and promotes their inclusion in the technological ecosystem in the long term.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2015, +11,600 young people from 18 countries in the region created +1,100 technological solutions with social impact.
