From 2015 we accompany young Latin American women so that they can from being users to creators of purposeful technology. We do this through training and employabilitya community that inspires, partnerships that open doorsprojects and research that drive transformations.
At Girls in Technology we don't just train programmers, data analysts or UX designers. We develop leadership with purpose and we work for a technology that is more human, more inclusive, more ours.
The CET Community is made up of all the young women who have gone through our programs. It is a space for meeting, support and inspiration. A living network that already connects more than 8000 girls in the region who once doubted if this world was for them and today are creating apps, leading technological projects, motivating others. Because learning with others not only motivates, it also drives. In 2024 alone, more than 2,300 young women from 20 countries joined this movement.
We create educational programs in diverse formats for girls from 13 to 23 years old that combine technical training, critical thinking, soft skills and social perspective. Through courses, workshops, meetings and festivals we seek to encourage them to transform their realities with technology. We also accompany +18 girls to get their first job in the tech world. Our employability program helps them to strengthen their professional profiles and offers them real opportunities for growth.
We believe that real transformations are built in networks. That is why we articulate with organizations from the public, private, educational and social sectors that share our vision and want to be part of the change.
Together we design programs, promote research, generate professional development opportunities for young women and strengthen an ecosystem where diversity and innovation go hand in hand.
Over the years, more than 80 partner institutions have already joined this mission.
To transform the technological ecosystem, we must first understand it. That is why we develop research with a gender perspective that makes inequalities visible, opens up questions and generates key evidence for decision-making.
We study educational trajectories, experiences of use, access and participation of women in technology, and we do it with open data and our own methodologies. Our reports have already been used by public agencies, media, companies and educational institutions throughout the region.
Because data is also a tool for change.
We believe in the collective power for changing the future of technology y en una generación que ya está programando el futuro, pero con otras reglas.
Si te sumás, acompañás a miles de jóvenes a crear soluciones con propósito.
