How many women are missing to reach gender parity in technology careers in Latin America?

This report presents the first comparative regional map on the participation of women in STEM careers, programming and technological development. Based on the analysis of data from six Latin American countries, it offers an updated overview of the disciplines chosen by female university students, highlighting structural inequalities and providing key evidence to influence educational, labor and digital inclusion policies.

Women Programmers

Based on the surveys conducted with the participants of the 2015 and 2016 editions of PUMM, this report recovers their views, learning and proposals. The experiences of the 75 girls who developed 25 prototypes of apps to solve problems in their communities enrich the debate on inclusion, training and leadership in technology with a gender perspective.
