Chicas en Tecnología, in alliance with Mercado Libre and Reprograma, opens the nominations to participate in the 4th edition of Connected. The program is online y free y convenes people who identify with the female gender, from 14 to 18 years of age, from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. to discover the opportunities they have in the world of technology.
For ten meetings, the participants will develop technical, impact and leadership skills to create digital projects with social impact.. The contents of the program address topics such as digital transformation, communication, project development and digital business, problem solving and user experience design, among others. Throughout the program, the young women will be accompanied by mentors specialized in technology, will meet leading women in the field and peers in the region, and will participate in panels, workshops and lectures.
In this new edition, 500 places are available and applications will be open until March 27th.

Latin American community of women technology creators
During 2021, more than one thousand adolescents participated in Connected and designed 188 technology projects such as websites, mobile applications and outreach campaigns to solve social problems in their communities. After this experience, 81% states that he has a clearer vision of what he wants to do with his future career and academics, and 91% shares that he is interested in researching technology topics.
