Why did you join Chicas en Tecnología?
A friend invited me to join. I liked that it targets young teenagers who have not yet decided what career path to follow, to inspire and motivate them to pursue something related to technology. I like being able to help in something that adds to the tech community.
What is your role and what activities do you perform within Chicas en Tecnología?
Design.
What do you think is your value contribution to the organization's mission?
Beyond giving a hand in accommodating the identity of Chicas en Tecnología, I think that many areas in technology need a ux/ui designer and that it is a more creative approach to technology.
From your point of view and experience: Why do you think it is important that there are more women in the technological entrepreneurial environment?
I believe that in technology as in any other profession, women are just as capable as men, and the gap that exists today is because the technology environment has always been categorized as a man's field. Every new point of view can be a contribution, regardless of gender.
